30 days as a precaution during the current Flu and Virus Season.

and Maryville Towers
Because we are concerned for your
Tuesday evening March, 17 2020 the exterior doors will remain locked even
during daytime hours to limit the people who go in and out of the
buildings. This policy will remain in
effect until further notice. Emergency
personnel such as police, fire and ambulance will be able to gain entry to the
building if they are called. Care givers for those who are very frail or bed
ridden should stop by the office and speak with the building manager regarding
entry into the building. At this time the Meals on Wheels
will continue to be delivered. Remember
to take your key with you if you leave the building.
high-rise apartments are strictly for persons who are 62 and older or are
handicapped or disabled most if not all of the residents fall into the highest
risk for serious health issues if infected with the flu or Virus. We have already taken measures to avoid or
limit physical contact and practice social distancing as recommended by the
CDC, HUD and local governments by cancelling scheduled re-certification
appointments, events or meetings and limiting the seating in the common areas. Rent payments as well as any other
documentation can be dropped in the drop box located at the office.

asking that residents not allow infants, children or youth who are not in school or
daycare to enter the building. If a resident is needed to provide care, we ask that they provide care in the home of the
children and not risk unnecessary exposure for their neighbor by bringing children,

will be closely monitoring who enters the building. Except for critical situations no overnight
guests will be allowed until further notice.
Also, we hope everyone will follow our strong recommendation and limit all visitors
to Broadway Towers and Maryville Towers for the next few weeks to prevent and/or delay the spread of disease. Please consider the health of our frail
Residents - Stay in your own apartment as much as possible for the next 2 weeks
or longer if needed.
Thank you for your co-operation. This is a temporary disruption. Hopefully everything can return to normal in a few weeks.
Stay in your apartment if you feel unwell, have
a fever or cough.
Keep your hands washed. Wash your clothing and
pets more frequently.
Don’t touch your face, nose or mouth with

Don’t crowd several people into the elevators - wait for another one.
Stay at least 3 feet away from other people. No handshakes or hugs but a smile and hello are nice.

Revision to the FY2020 Annual Plan - Public Comment Period February 6 - April 12, 2020.
The Authority has postponed until further notice the public hearing scheduled on March 23rd at 2pm at the main office. The purpose of this meeting will be to receive comments on the Agency’s revision to the 2020 Annual Plan. Written comments may be submitted to the main office located at 311 Atlantic Ave. Maryville, TN 37801 during business hours. The Plan is posted under the Resource/ Notices Tab above.
